How to set up your first run club or social ride event

Stoop

1. Pick your day and time. Weekday evenings (6–7pm) or weekend mornings (8–10am) work best. Consistency matters more than frequency — one recurring slot beats three random ones.

2. Name it clearly. "Post-run coffee — every Tuesday" or "Social ride + beer — Saturdays" helps people find you. Include who it's for: "All paces welcome" or "Beginner-friendly."

3. Define your offer. Free, paid, or "pay at the bar." For paid events, set a price that covers a coffee or a beer. Stoop lets you collect payment in-app or keep it free and earn at the bar.

4. Set capacity. How many can you comfortably serve after the run or ride? 20? 40? Set it. You control aforo and avoid overbooking.

5. Get listed. Runners and cyclists search for "run club near me" and "social ride café." Stoop surfaces your event on the map. They reserve, show up, and become regulars.

6. Make the post-activity moment count. Space for bags, water, maybe a discount for the group. The real value is the hang — that's where loyalty forms.

Ready? Add your venue on Stoop and create your first event. No monthly fee; you pay per paid event or keep it free.
